Chiropractor in Brighton - About Us
Dr Mike Cassidy-Hogg DC, Brighton chiropractor
I became a chiropractor because I love the hands-on approach of this amazing profession. When I was 16 I had a karate injury which resulted in weeks of severe back pain and sciatica (sharp, shooting leg pain). From my first adjustment I felt instantly better, and I've since had a passion for helping the human body to heal itself.
I believe that to be happy and healthy you have to aim for growth and momentum in life, and I bring this philosophy to my clinic. I give my practice members simple step-by-step ways to experience greater health and all the benefits that brings. It's about quality of life after all!
Being a chiropractor in Brighton is an exciting and fullilling role; I'm always looking for ways to improve people's experience of health and surpass the expectations of our practice members.
Sue Atkins, Chiropractic Assistant
My interest in the healing arts began with Chi Kung. This led me to train as a massage therapist, qualifying in 1992. I now enjoy combining my own treatments with the role of Chiropractic Assistant; once again inspired by bodywork, and the magic of chiropractic.
Massage therapy
Those practice members who need extra work on their muscles are referred to Sue. She is an incredibly skilled and perceptive massage therapist, and this form of therapy complements chiropractic care beautifully.
Katie Simmons, Chiropractic Assistant
As well as being a Chiropractic Assistant I am a qualified reflexologist and have a particular interest in nutrition.
